The European Coatings Show 2023 with ICHEMAD – Profarb is over!

One of the most prominent global events for the paints, coatings, adhesives, additives and chemical raw materials and construction chemicals industry has now become history. A wealth of knowledge, many great trade talks with specialists from all over the world, lots of positive experiences and new business connections – these are just some of the many advantages of attending the European Coatings Show, which descended on Nuremberg at the end of March.

ECS 2023 – the meeting place for global experts from the paint and varnish industry

At the European Coatings Show held in Nuremberg, Germany, more than 1,000 exhibitors from all over the world showcased the latest technical and scientific developments in construction chemicals. With its focus on sustainability and nanotechnology, ECS 2023 introduced process engineers, quality managers and purchasing managers to innovative solutions spanning the entire paints and coatings market.

The three-day event provided an excellent opportunity to network internationally, meet with scientists and representatives of leading companies from around the world or gain unique insights into the latest developments in the construction chemicals industry. This year’s European Coatings Show was of particular importance and eagerly awaited as it took place after a prolonged hiatus due to the pandemic.

ICHEMAD – Profarb among a number of exhibitors at the industry event in Nuremberg

Participation in the ECS is certainly more than just an interesting and fruitful gathering, but also an inspiration for further development and the search for state-of-the-art solutions. This is why a leading manufacturer of machinery for the chemical industry, like ICHEMAD – Profarb, once again took part in the European Coatings Show 2023, presenting state-of-the-art equipment used in the paint and coatings industry, which includes dissolvers, dispersers or mills.

Visitors at our stand were able to learn about the construction and operation of the PSF horizontal circulation mill, used to grind and disperse substances that require fine granulation in a liquid medium. The PSF Mill is a machine designed for very fine grinding of suspended hard solids in a closed system. It is highly efficient, simple to operate and has relatively low energy consumption. The PSF horizontal circulation mill, offered by ICHEMAD – Profarb, allows industrial businesses to make products that, due to the lack of suitable machinery, were previously impossible to produce. It is also worth noting that the PSF Mill is suitable for indoor operation and can be used in explosive atmospheres.

We also had the opportunity to show our cutting-edge PVTH-type three-shaft dissolver, used to prepare dispersions of solid particles in liquids, to a large audience. The machine is designed to produce a wide range of outputs. It has 3 independently controlled agitators: a central anchor agitator to aid mixing, scrub the walls and prevent sedimentation; a lateral screw agitator that moves vertically; and a lateral disc agitator for intensive dispersion. By fitting the three-shaft dissolver with a hydraulic system, it is possible to operate the mixer at different immersion depths, which increases its functionality. The unit is extremely popular in many production facilities, not only domestically but also abroad.

Other equipment from the ICHEMAD – Profarb range also generated interest among visitors, such as dispersers that continuously grind substances in a small amount of liquid. This operation results in very permanent suspensions. The use of modern components and smart control systems means that the dispersers offered by ICHEMAD – Profarb are energy-efficient and reliable. This type of equipment is used not only for the production of paints and varnishes, but also for various types of enamels, adhesives, coatings, binders and many other industrial products.

Involvement in the European Coatings Show 2023 was extremely successful for ICHEMAD – Profarb. We are delighted to have been part of this event and are already looking forward to the next edition of the European Coatings Show, which you are also very welcome to attend!

See you in Nuremberg in 2025!
